How did Remus die in Rome?

According to legend, Romulus built a city wall around Rome in order to protect the city from invaders. His brother Remus jumped over the wall and was killed by Romulus. This consolidated Romulus’ power and the city was named after him.

It’s not surprising that Romulus killed his brother after being made fun of for his city wall. It’s a shame that such a thing had to happen between two brothers, but it just goes to show how important it is to have a strong city wall.
